Forget trickeration. Forget multi-pronged passing attacks and fancy fakes. The Olathe South football team defeated Lawrence 25-11 and snapped a four-game losing streak Friday by going back to basics: handing the ball to Jake Byrd and letting Reggie Harris make plays on special teams.

After falling behind 1-0 early, the Olathe South soccer team scored four straight goals to down St. Thomas Aquinas, the No. 2-ranked team in Kansas, 4-2 on Oct. 9.
